SUMMARY

Halcyon will debut its first remastered and electrified Rolls-Royce Corniche, the Highland Heather commission, at the Concours of Elegance, Hampton Court Palace, 5th–7th September 2025. The result of an in-house design study, the Highland Heather commission is the first demonstration of Halcyon’s Rolls-Royce remastering services, taking its name and inspiration from the natural majesty of Scotland’s moors while quietly paying tribute to the pioneering spirit of Rolls-Royce’s 1907 Scottish reliability trials.

Strictly limited to 60 one-of-one commissions, each remastering will be curated in close collaboration with its owner through Halcyon’s atelier. The result unites peerless craftsmanship, bespoke artistry and advanced engineering. Underpinning each commission is an in-house 800V electric drivetrain, delivering silent, effortless performance to ensure these legendary cars once again represent the pinnacle of luxury motoring.

Matthew Pearson, CEO of Halcyon, commented: “Unveiling the result of our design study in the beautiful setting of Hampton Court Palace gives our clients a first taste of how incredible their cars will be. The passion, effort, and attention to detail that our team has poured into the Highland Heather design study have created a vehicle unlike any other. Classic elegance and a modern spark make for everything the Corniche should be, unmistakably Rolls-Royce.

HALCYON’S REMASTERING: STRIVING FOR PERFECTION

Inspired by Henry Royce’s uncompromising mantra to “take the best that exists and make it better,” Halcyon has embarked on a mission to remaster the most iconic Rolls-Royce models of the 20th century, capturing the spirit and emotion of a bygone era while embracing the possibilities of today.

Beginning with the Rolls-Royce Corniche and Silver Shadow, each Halcyon remastering is entirely hand-built in Surrey through an extensive 12-month build process. More than 2,000 hours are dedicated to a ground-up, bare-metal restoration, where expert craftspeople unite traditional and modern coachbuilding techniques to perfect hundreds of hand-built, hand-finished parts back to, and beyond, their original form.

From this perfect foundation, Halcyon’s engineers seamlessly develop and integrate the very best technologies of today without adding weight. This includes an in-house 800V, 500-horsepower electric powertrain developed over two years to deliver effortless, whisper-quiet motion. The result ensures owners enjoy twenty-first-century performance and reliability alongside the timeless design and tactile analogue experience of the original.

Each commission is tailored in close collaboration with its owner, ensuring a true one-of-one creation. Halcyon’s own designers work directly with clients and, when desired, collaborate with world-renowned artists to create truly exceptional works of art, with no request left unexplored.

HIGHLAND HEATHER UNVEILED

Presenting in stunning Purple Moorland, Highland Heather is Halcyon’s first completely remastered Rolls-Royce Corniche. Demonstrating the depths of Halcyon’s commissioning process, its distinctive purple finish evokes the delicate hues of Scottish heather. The theme continues throughout the interior, with thoughtful but subtle engraved details honouring the car’s provenance and inspiration. The centrepiece of Highland Heather is its Halcyon Gallery, which showcases a water-inspired sculpture that symbolises the highland rivers of Scotland.

For those wanting to see a Halcyon commission in person, Highland Heather and the Halcyon leadership team will be at Hampton Court Palace Concours of Elegance, in the UK, from the 5-7th of September 2025.

APPENDIX A: HALYCON’S REMASTERED ROLLS-ROYCE CORNICHE IN DETAIL

Craftsmanship: Hand-built in Britain

Each Halcyon commission is hand-built in Surrey, with more than 2,000 hours devoted to the bare-metal restoration alone. Expert craftspeople blend traditional and modern coachbuilding techniques to perfect every detail, taking each component back to, and beyond, its original form. By uniting the time-honoured traditions of British coachbuilding with modern precision, from advanced 3D scanning to contemporary materials, each chassis is prepared to form a flawless foundation, refined to a standard that was never possible in period.

The body is then finished through a multi-layer paint process, each coat applied and polished by hand to create a deep, mirror-smooth surface. Inside, the same dedication continues with hand-stitched leather upholstery, rare book-matched veneers, and individually machined metal details can be specified to ensure that every touchpoint reflects the very highest standard of bespoke craft and quality.

Bespoke Artistry: A Celebration of Timeless Design

No two Halcyon remasterings are alike. Envisioned by the client and brought to life by Halcyon’s expert craftspeople, designers, and engineers, each is a named commission with its own narrative. With deep reverence for the timeless coach-built form, Halcyon works in close collaboration with owners to refine and enhance every element, honouring the original intent while elevating it into a true one-of-one masterpiece.

Limited to just 60 hand-built commissions worldwide, each car is curated from a library of the world’s finest natural materials. Every stitch, hue, and finish can be tailored to individual specification, from one-of-one paints and embroidery to collaborations with world-renowned artists.

The remastered cabin is inspired by more than a century of British automotive heritage, discreetly updated for modern comfort. At its heart is the Halcyon Gallery, a 1.4m wide showcase of bespoke design, with themes that can extend seamlessly throughout the interior for a unified expression of the client’s vision.

This philosophy continues to the exterior, where clients may choose to honour the classic look of the original or introduce subtle refinements. Options include uninterrupted hand-made chrome bumpers, bespoke Halcyon headlights, unique wheel designs, and custom finishes or detailing, all developed in close collaboration with Halcyon’s designers.

Halcyon’s inaugural commission, Highland Heather, demonstrates the depth of storytelling within the commissioning process, beginning with a distinctive purple finish that evokes the delicate hues of Scottish heather. It also introduces the first expression of the Halcyon Gallery, showcasing a water-inspired sculpture that recalls the Highland rivers. Subtle engraved details throughout the cabin further honour the car’s provenance and inspiration, including the iconic roads of the Grande Corniche.

An early client commission takes Halcyon’s dedication to bespoke even further, featuring a unique two-seat configuration with a sculpted rear cabin designed in collaboration with the owner. Halcyon’s team is also exploring the integration of a purpose-crafted Louis Vuitton luggage set, a clear statement of the limitless possibilities of its bespoke design programme.

Modern Innovation: An Effortless Experience

Powertrain

Halcyon’s remastering delivers peerless performance through a state-of-the-art 800-Volt electric platform, developed in collaboration with sister company Evice Technologies. It offers the performance expected of electric automotive luxury, delivering up to 500hp with silence and refinement. This technology delivers industry-leading efficiency to meet Halcyon’s zero-weight-added requirement, elevating the Corniche’s effortless ‘waftability’ and character to its greatest potential.

The modular nature of the Evice Technologies architecture ensures that clients have the flexibility for future upgrades, as technology advances. Currently, two battery configurations are available. The standard system combines front and rear battery packs for up to 250 miles of range. An extended option integrates an additional battery pack for up to 300 miles on a single charge.

With regenerative braking adding to the driving range, Evice’s systems support AC charging and DC rapid charging, and are compatible with all common charging infrastructure to enable spontaneity and convenience. An advanced active thermal management system ensures consistent and reliable performance in all weather conditions, cooling or heating the batteries to maintain an optimal temperature.

Chassis & Suspension

Zero-weight-added, semi-active suspension and an upgraded braking system combine to add dynamic composure, all while maintaining the signature cloud-like ride. Continuously controlled electronic dampers support three signature drive modes to suit any occasion: Drive, Spirited, and Touring. Touring delivers an exceptionally smooth throttle and chassis, ideal for long-distance cruising, while Spirited provides greater immediacy through a quicker throttle response and more reactive damping. Drive offers a perfectly balanced experience for all occasions. Just like the car itself, each journey is a unique experience that can be tailored to the conditions and desires of the driver.

Other Technologies

Modern technologies for comfort and convenience are discreetly integrated, while ensuring the cabin retains a timeless aesthetic and analogue charm. A concealable infotainment unit with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto pairs with a bespoke high-end audio system. These are complemented by driver-focused features such as cruise control, reversing camera, climate control, and electrically adjustable seats with heating and ventilation, ensuring effortless comfort in any environment.

Price & Availability

Halcyon’s remastering service starts from £420,000, plus the donor vehicle and local taxes. For clients who do not already own a Rolls-Royce donor car, Halcyon offers an acquisition service to source a suitable vehicle. Halcyon’s remastering is also available for the Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow, Bentley T-Series, and Bentley Corniche cars.

Holding deposits can now be placed, with production beginning in Q4 2025 for first deliveries in Q4 2026. Each commission is handcrafted as part of a 12-month build process in close collaboration with each client.
